My name is Megan Yamanaka. You can call me Reili.

One of my goals for 2011 is to blog about something every day here at Totally True Tales of a Honest Deceiver. Actually, “blog” might be a little bit of a deceptive term, because what I’m actually going to end up posting here will probably end up being an amalgamation of actual blog-like posts (stuff like reviews) and semi-organized thoughts about my day plus some original writing and posts more like personal essays about the weird things that have happened to me.

A lot of weird things have happened to me, actually. Hopefully they will be entertaining to other people too and I won’t feel like I’m talking to myself. (Even if I was, it wouldn’t be a big deal because I do it all the time. I like to think that most people talk to themselves, it’s just that they don’t admit it.)

Anyway, I guess I should tell you a little bit about me, huh?

Okay. Well, I’m a 20-year-old art student at California College of the Arts in Oakland/San Francisco. I’m asexual and I like key lime pie. That’s pretty much everything you should know about me, although there are things you will learn about me over the year.
